Year Over Year Indicators
The year over year closed sales numbers for 12/2019 are down from 12/2018 with a change of -3.0%. The median sales price jumped 6.1% and the number of homes for sale fell -2.1%. This mostly reflects a lack of inventory in Metro Detroit. Inventory of homes for sale fell from 18,102 to 17,401 or a change of -3.9%.

The year over year average sales price jumped 6.1% to $215,105 for residential homes and 1.5% to $189,916 for Condos. You can access the entire report here.
