Year Over Year Indicators
The year over year closed sales numbers for 01/2020 are down from 01/2019 with a change of -3.7%. The median sales price jumped 9.6% and the number of homes for sale fell -7.1%. This mostly reflects a lack of inventory in Metro Detroit. Inventory of homes for sale fell from 17,430 to 15,832 or a change of -9.2%.

The year over year average sales price jumped 9.4% to $212,748 for residential homes and fell 4.9% to $185,673 for Condos. You can access the entire report here.
